Delivery & Charges
**Please note that due to the size of our kayaks and canoes they are difficult to deliver, due to this it can result in some minor scuffs to the underside of your boat - nothing more than what would happen during first use. If you wish to avoid this then please feel free to contact us about collecting the item.**
All orders are shipped with ROYAL MAIL 1st CLASS, DPD, FEDEX NEXT DAY or THE PALLET NETWORK Next day deliveries depending on the size and weight of the order. Orders under £50 incur a shipping cost of £4.50. All orders over £50 are sent FREE of Charge unless surcharges apply (SEE BELOW FOR FULL DETAILS)
When will I receive my order?
- Accessories:
For boxed and smaller items such as paddleboards and all accessories we aim to get your order shipped out on the same day if your purchase is completed before 11am, if not it will be the following day. Please ensure you include your email and your mobile phone number with all orders to make sure you receive your tracking number and delivery updates directly from our couriers. Deliveries are for weekdays only.
Please note that deliveries outside the mainland UK or in harder to reach areas such as the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands can take anything up to 5 days depending on where you are. Sometimes possibly longer and may be subject to a surcharge. If a surcharge is required for your delivery address, it will get added to your basket before you complete the order and process a payment so please ensure you are happy with it before checking out.
If you are not around, our carrier will leave a calling card if possible and attempt delivery the next day. Arrangements can possibly be made under special circumstances in regards to you being out, however in giving authorisation to the courier to leave a parcel it is the same as signing for receipt of the goods in good condition, we will be unable to compensate or arrange an exchange of goods for any items damaged in transit should authorisation be given to leave the goods. Please call us for more information.
There are chances of some delays. This can also depend on your location and other external factors such as bad weather, bank holidays and high demand periods like Christmas. For this reason, we would always recommend allowing 3-5 days for your item to arrive before contacting us but if you have not received your item within this time frame please get in touch with us.
If you have not received your order within a reasonable amount of time we would advise that you check your online tracking for further information. If you have any further issues, please contact us.
For unwanted items you will be responsible for the return’s postage. We recommend using a tracked service as they goods will be your responsibility until the reach us.
Surcharges: Unfortunately we currently are unable to offer shipping of Kayaks or Paddles to Northern Ireland but we are able to ship accessories. All surcharges will be added to your basket before you complete the order and pay so please ensure you are happy with the surcharge before processing the order. Surcharges are calculated on the volume and address of the delivery. If you would like an estimate prior to purchase then please call our office on 01246 866800 or put the items in your basket, add your address and the shipping will get calculated before you proceed to payment.
- Kayaks and Canoes:
**Please note that at present we are unable to deliver our 3-man and 4-man canoes, these are available for collection ONLY from our warehouse in Clay Cross, Derbyshire, S45 9NU**
We have 2 collections a week from our large item couriers, DX Freight 2 Man delivery service. These are on a Tuesday and Thursday. Our couriers require a contact telephone number, preferably a mobile, and an email address with each order so it is vital this is provided at checkout by all our customers to reduce any delays with delivery.
DX deliver on a 48hr delivery service from the collection date. You will be notified from our couriers directly once your order has been collected by them. Some outer areas, such as the Highlands will be 3 - 5 days longer. Sometimes this may be more and is subject to a surcharge. If a surcharge is required for your delivery address, it will get added to your basket before you complete the order and process a payment so please ensure you are happy with it before checking out.
DX Freight have 4 touch points with the customer before delivery to reduce the chance of missed deliveries.
1 – confirmation email on collection and the customer can choose one of 4 other days if the delivery day is not convenient
2 – the day before delivery they get a 2hr delivery window
3 – on the day of delivery you will receive confirmation of the 2hr window and also a link to the GPS tracking of our crew
4 – 30 minutes before delivery we call them to say we are close by.
Please note that someone does need to be at the property to sign for the goods. DX Freight have all of those touch points to make sure you are fully aware of when to expect the goods so the delivery is successful. Deliveries of kayaks will occur weekdays only.
Our couriers use a one-man delivery service, so please be aware that for kayaks the delivery drivers may require some additional assistance from the recipient. This could include helping the driver to get the item out of the delivery vehicle and onto your property.
Please be advised that we are unable to cover consequential losses for late, delayed or damaged shipments.
For unwanted items there will be a charge for our couriers to collect the item from you. This will depend on the size of the kayak and your location. Please note that you are more than welcome to bring the kayak back to us to avoid this.
Where are you deliver?
Unfortunately we are only able to deliver to the UK mainland currently. For out of areas such as Offshore Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, please call us on 01246 866 800 or alternatively you can email us at info@riberproducts.com with your full address, name and telephone number and we can get a quote for you.
Can I track my delivery?
- Your order will be updated with tracking information as soon as we dispatch and have the relevant information. For kayaks & canoes, on the day of delivery you will receive confirmation of the 2hr delivery window and also a link to the GPS tracking of our crew.

- Orders under £50 incur a delivery charge of £4.50
- Orders over £50 incur no delivery charge unless you are in a surchargable location, please contact us on 01246 866800 or drop an e-mail to info@riberproducts.com BEFORE placing an order so we can discuss shipping costs.
